Dec 09 - Harrier 68 Delivery - Atlass has today taken delivery of its new Harrier 68 system from Trimble Germany. The new system incorporates significant advances in the operator interface and system integration software. Managing Director Matthew McCauley said "The new system will further improve our capabilities and allow Atlass to operate our data acquisition assets more efficiently, resulting in shorter project lead times and lower costs."

Nov 09 - Atlass wins role in Murray Darling Basin project - Atlass, in conjunction with Terranean Mapping Technologies and Aerometrix, has been awarded a major contract with the Murray Darling Basin Authority for the acquisition of LiDAR data over some 1600 sites across Australias largest river system.

Oct 09 - Atlass Purchases New LiDAR System - Atlass today announced the signing of a contract with Trimble Germany for the purchase of the first Harrier 68/G1 Lidar system. The system, incorportating Multiple Time Around technology, is significantly more capable than the current Harrier 56 operated by Atlass and will enable the company to offer competitive rates on very large area surveys and very high resolution surveys.

Sept 09 - Rollie Camera Upgrade - Atlass has sent its Rollie AIC45 for factory upgrade in Germany. The upgrade involves a completely new rigid one piece camera body, new lenses and upgraded processing software. The result will be better single image clarity with lower fall off, resulting in higher quality mosaics.

Jan 09 - Relocate Office to Central Qld - Atlass operations has relocated to Rockhampton in Central Queensland.  This central location has allowed us to better serve all our clients. The office at 114 Denham Street Rockhampton is now the base for all processing and flight operations.

Oct 08 - Purchase of Second Aircraft - Atlass has purchased a second aircraft for its survey operations. The single engine Beechcraft Bonanza offer higher transit speeds and therefore better efficiency for remote operations. The aircraft is currently undergoing modification and is expected to enter service in December 2008.
