Utilising advanced terrain modeling software, Atlass can calculate stockpile volumes directly from high resolution LiDAR data.
Our professional team of LiDAR processors has developed efficient work flows for deriving coal stockpile volumes from the processed LiDAR data. Using ortho images and rendered data to visually define the edges of coal stockpiles wec determine volumes to the toe of the stockpile or to a predefined base surface.
Atlass can rapidly determine the volumes of ROM stockpiles, crushed and washed stockpiles even in enviroments with overhead conveyor structures, dramatically increasing the safety of determining stockpile volumes by eliminating the need to have personnel on site.
